At the heart of every global threat is a failure of leadership. This new generation is the most informed, most educated, most connected generation in human history. The Tale of Humankind Summit identifies, promotes, and connects the world’s most impactful young leaders to create a better world, with more responsible, more effective leadership.

ABOUT THE SUMMIT

With the objective to inspire and motivate young people to be good leaders and serve humanity, "The Tale of Humankind-Youth Summit 2020” is a platform for young leaders, change-makers, innovators, youth activists from around the world to share their contributions, experiences, and knowledge on pertinent social and global issues and an opportunity to learn about the best practices through mutual learning.

PLENARY SESSIONS 2020

The Tale of Humankind is proud to announce the Plenary Session themes!
The Plenary Sessions are some of the key highlights of The Tale of Humankind Summit 2020 and include speeches, panel discussions & presentations by world leaders, business executives, social entrepreneurs, leading advocates, innovators, and changemakers, whose work and stories speak to the topic at hand. All content at the Summit is shaped by the four Plenary Sessions from keynotes to panels.

Gender Equality

Gender inequality unequivocally is one of the biggest obstacles which has since ages relegated women, girls, and others subject to gender-based discrimination. It is time we confront traditional norms around gender and address cultural barriers. Aligned with the theme for International Women’s Day 2020 ‘I am Generation Equality: Realizing Women’s Rights’, let us together Empower, Elevate, and Engage with women around the world.

Climate Crisis

As the impact of climate change intensifies over time, it is the youth of today who will face the worst effects. Realizing this the young people all over the world have begun to fight back on a scale never seen before demanding greater action from governments to fight climate change. Climate change is here and its impacts are only going to get worse - unless we act now. So join us in taking climate action today, because it is only together that we can create a better world.

Skills For Post-COVID World

The COVID pandemic has shaken the pillars on which our society is based. We are sure that this setback to the planet will lead us to a different and hopefully better world. But how should we get ready for these changes? What are the opportunities we must seize? One thing is certain, however: to emerge successfully from the current crisis, we will need to nurture and revamp our skill sets to handle the aftermath of COVID-19 Let us reimagine the future of skills.

Child Rights

Just like other human beings, children have inalienable rights too and therefore adults should respect each child. This respect means hearing their voices and taking action for them. Their issues, their concerns, their opinions… MATTER. As rightly pointed out by Whoopi Goldberg, “Children reflects the quality of life… when our children are happy, then we are better as human beings.” We have to be more than just observers of children’s suffering. We must uphold their self-esteem, teach them the right values of life, and above all, protect their general rights.
